Smiths Motor Accessories was a pioneer in the development of the UK Automotive Industry.  In 1984 ownership of Smiths Motor Accessories moved to the Lucas Group and then transferred to the German concern VDO before becoming an independent company (Caerbont Automotive Industries) following a management buyout in 1993.  The managemernt of the company have their roots on SMITHS and are now carrying on the manufacture of the Classic line of instruments and adding new and exciting product lines.

CAI/SMITHS Warranty Information:  Little Britain Motor Company will warranty those Smiths products purchased from us against defects in workmanship  for up to 2 years from the purchase date, providing the part is returned to us with proof of purchase. At our discretion, we may choose to repair or replace the product.  No replacement will be provided until we receive and verify defect of the original product.  Return shipping costs will not be reimbursed.  Shipping of the replacement back to you will be on our terms and at no cost to you.  We will not assume any responsibility for labour costs (or any other additional costs) associated with the removal or replacement of the defective product, loss of equipment downtime, or any other  associated costs.
