The car is a front-engined sports racer built by Craig LaCompte and Max Stewart over the years 1964 to 67. It is Alfa-powered, 1962cc with twin webers. It is a two-seater, fibre-glass bodied, space-frame live-axle car weighing 1480lb with 53in front and 55in rear track and front discs/rear drums. It was totally restored in 1991-92 and has since competed in VARAC (Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada) events and the American SVRA (Sportscar Vintage Racing Association) events. VARAC is affiliated to the ASN -Canada (through the Regional body - Canadian Automobile Sports Clubs- Ontario Region). The car has both CASC and SVRA log books.
Its competition achievements include winning the Group 6 award for new cars in 1969 - Motorsport Club of Ottawa and 4th overall in the 1970 Quebec Group 6 Championship.
